Adapting ‘Adaptive Learning’ for Real Schools

March 8, 2016

Thomas Arnett participates in a SXSWedu panel discussion with Ilia Molina (Miami-Dade County Public Schools), Sandy Bartle Finocchi (Carnegie Learning), and Steven Ritter (Carnegie Learning) on how traditional school environments can balance institutional requirements and instructional practices to support personalized learning that adapts to each student’s abilities and preferences.

Thomas’ research focuses on the changing roles of teachers in blended-learning environments and other innovative educational models. He also examines how teacher education and professional development are shifting to support the evolving needs of teachers and school systems.
