Michael B. Horn has a piece in the Britannica Blog about the effect of technology in education. Along with other writers throughout the week, Horn discusses whether technology is good or bad for schools. In his article, published on Oct. 23, 2008, he suggests that employing online learning with a disruptive approach can allow schools to take advantage of the high potential of online learning and such technologies, but otherwise we should not expect much.
