Program Model
Program model: Flex, Station Rotation
Model description
Students attend a Learning Center five days a week for the full school day. Older students, who are capable of self-directing their work, spend the majority of their time progressing independently through online coursework as teachers and paraprofessionals offer assistance on an as-needed basis.
Younger students progress through their coursework differently. Rather than spend most of their time working independently through online coursework, students rotate at the teacher’s discretion between face-to-face direct instruction from the teachers and online learning. The rotation is contained within the classroom and not every student experiences the same rotation as the amount of time students spend working through each modality depends on how they progress through the curriculum.
