School Description

Gilroy Prep School made a splash in its opening year when it earned an API score of 978 and established a reputation for itself as the highest performing debut charter school in California’s history. Gilroy Prep arguably serves Gilroy’s highest-need student population. It has developed a school model to serve these students based off of research of well-established blended learning schools like Rocketship Education and Kipp Heartwood Academy. As a result of developing a powerful school model, the creators hope Gilroy Prep will have a lasting impression on surrounding schools’s methods. The school plans to reach its full size, grades K-8, in the 2018-19 school year.
