Organization Description
Originally founded through a summer program for rising middle-schoolers, FirstLine Schools now provides educational services for nearly 3,000 students through its five schools. The organization places a strong emphasis on the use of personalized learning. Desiring to further close the achievement gap, the CMO launched its first blended-learning pilot during the 2011-12 school year at Arthur Ashe Charter School. Considered highly successful, blended learning has since expanded to all schools within the charter network.
