Fayette County Public Schools is a school district based in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The district serves all of Fayette County, which is coextensive with the city of Lexington. In 2013, Fayette County Public Schools and the University of Kentucky partnered to create The STEAM Academy, an urban public school that incorporates mastery learning, personalized instruction, internships, and dual/college credit opportunities.
