Education Achievement Authority is an organization charged with transforming the lowest 5 percent of the persistently lowest-achieving schools in Michigan. while simultaneously developing a new approach to educating 21st century students. In EAA’s student-centered classrooms, students assume responsibility for their learning and participate in planning, goal setting, and producing evidence of what they know and can do based on projects and performance tasks. The results have been positive, for instance, 12.1 percent of students who were not proficient in reading the previous year meeting the state standard in 2013. Click here to see more results.
