School Description
e3 Civic High School is a public charter secondary school in the San Diego Unified School District. It is housed on the two top floors of the city’s new main public library in Downtown San Diego and is billed as the first public school in the United States to be located inside a library. Its unique location allows the school to leverage relationships with business in downtown San Diego and offer students a host of career-focused opportunities.

Program model: A La Carte
Model description
Teachers and students collaborate to create a personalized learning plan for each student. Forty percent of student time is dedicated to learning digital math and literacy content. The classroom is at a 1:1 capacity for students to engage with digital content. Outside of engaging in a digital curriculum, students interact with advisory facilitators and counselors for advice on general learning strategies or career-focused advice.
