Charter Management Organization Description
Founded in 2011, Distinctive Schools has grown to manage five elementary and middle schools in the Chicago area. The CMO seeks to provide its nearly 2,500 students with access to state-of-the-art technology. With an emphasis on supporting programs with proven effectiveness, Distinctive Schools cites its “blended-learning approach” as a key component of its success. The CMO plans to increase its use of blended learning in the future as it pursues new methods of personalized learning.
