In education, for-profit gets a bad rep

In the May 20, 2010 Huffington Post, Michael B. Horn has an op-ed titled “In education, for-profit gets a bad rep,” in which he talks about the positives and negatives of the for-profit university sector, but also how important that sector is to realizing President Obama’s education goals. In addition, he discusses how discriminating by for-profit, non-profit, and public is discriminating by the wrong category.

Michael is a co-founder and distinguished fellow at the Clayton Christensen Institute. He currently serves as Chairman of the Clayton Christensen Institute and works as a senior strategist at Guild Education.
