Cofounders of Innosight Institute and coauthors of Disrupting Class Clayton M. Christensen and Michael B. Horn coauthored a piece in the July issue of Chief Learning Officer. The article builds upon their work in Disrupting Class to suggest how user networks, a tool of the Web 2.0 revolution, could make a dramatic improvement in the learning that occurs within corporations. With a case study example from Wynn Resorts, the article makes the case that leveraging user networks can break through the fundamental challenges to allowing employees to learn in the way they are best wired to learn, which could transform corporations into robust learning organizations.
