As Director of the Fellows Program, Horace oversees visiting fellows as they master the theory of disruption and apply it to a wide range of industries both in the business and social sector. Horace is also instrumental in researching and refining core components of the theory; his current work examines the lifecycle of innovation and the identification and segmentation of long-term technology adoption.

Horace is the founder of the market intelligence site Asymco.com, and also works as an independent analyst on mobile platform strategy. Declared “King of Apple Analysts” by Fortune magazine, Horace has set the standard for open, public access to deep industry analysis. He has been cited by numerous media outlets, including BloombergFinancial TimesEconomist, and Forbes and produces a weekly podcast on technology strategy called The Critical Path. Horace also established the conferences Asymconf and IBM-sponsored Airshow to bring audiences together in debate using the case method.

Previously, Horace spent more than eight years analyzing mobile software, platforms, and markets at Nokia.

Horace is a member of the Forum for Growth and Innovation at the Harvard Business School. He obtained an MS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
